Half way thru July?!!

I thought that I would stop by here and just make a few notes!! I can't believe that July is half gone already...Where does the time go?

Things here have been pretty much the same. Adrea and Al, Claudia and Jim and Ramona came over to help celebrate the 4th of July with us...Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Apple/Cherry pie and home made Vanilla Ice Cream...along with lots of yummy munchies were had by all!! The "furries" had a great time dressing up! as you can see...they just love their headbands and scarfs!

Shellie, Tim Kyle and Kelsey came up for Father's day and we all had a great time just relaxing! Grandpa especially enjoyed the trip to "Golden Spoon" which has become his favorite!! ( I didn't tell him that it was yogurt until I had him hooked!!! Kelsey was promoted from Middle School to High School in June. She also made the cheer squad. We are all very proud of her, although Tim and Shellie were wondering what they had gotten into when the envelope came home with the cost of uniforms, etc!!!

Our Great Leader from Doodlekisses came to town to visit and we got to have a "romp" with all of the puppies, Adina and Clark..and then all went out for breakfast at a local "dog friendly"establishment called the "Sunrise Cafe". Yummmmyyy!!

We have lots of fun planned for the end of this month and August! July 25th my mom, Barbara, will be here for a week to visit..I am hoping to do some baking and sewing while she is here! Just some fun stuff. She is going to a Red Hat meeting with me also. She will be here when Ramona and I sing a duet for church on the August 2nd weekend. We will be taking mom home on the 3rd of August and continuuing on down to San Diego for 4 days of fun, and to get out of this heat!!! We will probably spend a couple additional days in Oceanside to visit Shellie and family. I am going to Texas the 2nd week of August and then we will be home until the 30th, when we will head out to Catalina with Adrea for a week!! Yeah, we are really looking forward to staying out there again. We went out there for a week in the summer for 8 straight years, but haven't been out there for 2 years now!! So glad to be going back again! Adrea has the use of a friend's condo...so accomodations will be free! Other than that I am spending a lot of time working on the blog site for my class reunion which is set for August 5th - 8th, 2010. My friend Kory and I are the "committee" so have a lot of planning and organization to do!! Thank goodness for the internet, Facebook and computers..makes this sooooo.... much easier than past reunions! Can't wait to see everyone after 40 years...that is a REALLY LONG time.. Best sign off for now and try to get some work done!! I will do ANYTHING to put off doing bookwork!!!
