Well this time I think Coco is busy so I will probably get to write my own "chapter"!! We finally finished the back yard..complete with an aboveground fibreglass spa.... Now everyone just pick yourselves up..I know that for 30 years we have been explaining why NO ONE would ever want one of these things,BUT it appears that there are very good reasons to have one...#1) You can take it with you if you leave a rental..#2) It was free!!..#3) They are much more usefull for old bodies, many more jets..#4) It was free!!..#5) We really do enjoy it AND it was free!.... Although the free part is just a bonus! It appears that we have to eat our words, these Fiberglass Spas really do have their virtues..I think that this one is here to stay!
Along with the very long process of sprucing up the back yard we have taken breaks along the way..or rather I have.. Kenny on the other hand is working all of the time, although mostly from home. He does enjoy what he does so that is definitely a bonus. He is selling and building pools and running the service department for Atlantis Pools. I on the other hand have kept busy singing in the Church Choir on Sunday's and we gave a beautiful concert with another choir on Ascension Day.. Choir is now on vacation for the summer, but will start back up in September. Many of our members are "snowbirds" and have flown to cooler climates for the Summer..we would love to follow them!!
I also joined the Red Hat Society! What a Hoot..my friend Claudia belonged and got me to join her group. Our chapter is called the "Desert Stars" and we have soooo....much fun! The first luncheon I went to was at The Elephant Bar..a fun restaurant near my house! This was my inaugural event! We have so much silly fun!! Here are some pictures from Char and Olga's "Hoot"! We had lunch at Olive Garden and then went back to Char's for Dessert!

This is the whole group outside of Char's House on the Left and that is Claudia and our "Queen Dee" on the right!

This last one is Claudia and I at the Olive Garden!

We have met a lot of new friends and neighbor's and are finding that life can be quite an adventure when you do not have to work 15 hour days!!
